TERRAroma is the creation of Mary Mettias, Pharm.D. and Sally Helmi, BSN, R.N. who have a passion for all things handmade, all natural, earth-friendly, and healing. TERRAroma, (terra) meaning earth, and the essential oils it naturally produces to create simple yet powerful aroma-therapeutic affects on one’s well-being is the basis behind the brand. With our pharmacist-nurse backgrounds, we collide our medicinal insight with our artistic eye to creatively craft holistic candles & beauty essentials with a visually aesthetic appeal.  


What makes TERRAroma truly unique is our thoughtfully curated set of antique ceramics turned candles.  We extensively search vintage and antique shops in the NJ/NY area to turn beautiful and rare ceramic finds into hand poured soy candles fragranced with one of our four signature aromatherapy blends. In addition to the antique candles, we formulate distinct recipes for our massage candles, lip balms, body scrubs, and other beauty essentials. Our products do not have any synthetic chemicals, fillers, or parabens. We create with only raw ingredients like organic shea butter, cocoa butter, coconut oil, herbs, essential oils, and more. TERRAroma is greater than a business for us, it is our lifestyle, a way to create and love our earth.
